Wisconsin Spring


Catch The Moment
I'm throwing a curve ball and doing a post entirely unrelated to crafting. We got covered in snow last Thursday which is funny because it was May 2 and we live in the northern hemisphere, so it should be spring.

It was pretty much gone by Saturday but the damage was bad... We lost power for almost 24 hours on Thursday and our trees are still hurting from the damage.

I was at work Wednesday night so I was very worried about coming home to a tree on top of our shed-- or worse-- on our garage. We got lucky though; the big branches missed those structures entirely:


It was a group effort to clean up. Luckily I have excellent help:

We are going to be having some epic bonfires this summer!

 And a church bake sale combined with Saturday's fishing opener makes for a deadly combination:

  1. Wow that was a lot of damage. Glad no structures were ruined. Also those fishy cupcakes look delicious! I like the color coordination on them.

  3. holy crapoly - that's just nuts! i can't believe it. we still have a tree down from the last snow storm....but thankfully it's been semi-warm here, finally.
