Yarn Along/WIP Wednesday Giveaway

I'll just share photos of what I'm actively working on right now. I've got the girl's coat, Devan cardi , onesie, and my first toy on the needles but the coat and the Devan are on hold for the moment. I finished the front of the onesie Tuesday afternoon!

Relatively true to the green color this time. (Needles are just preventing rolling.)

Details on the color work

I cast on for a Need a Hug Bear last night. I started with the face since I'm going eye and nose shopping on Thursday and wanted an idea of how big the head was going to be. It will be a birthday present for my youngest son's first birthday this summer. I've been knitting his onesie like a madman since I really don't think I have enough green yarn for the back. So, the littlest man around here is getting spoiled right now and doesn't even know it!

As for reading, Journey for Freedom  by Peter Vodenka and the Catechism are still at my fingertips. And from the Catechism:
982 There is no offense, however serious, that the Church cannot forgive. "There is no one, however wicked and guilty, who may not confidently hope for forgiveness, provided his repentance is honest." Christ who died for all men desires that in his Church the gates of forgiveness should always be open to anyone who turns away from sin.

Now, on to the pattern giveaway. I love my Bear Brand baby pattern book. Since it is out of print I'd like to share the love and send two of you, a knitter and a crocheter, a pattern from the book.
I will email a PDF to the winners and I will pick someone for the knit and someone for the crochet using a random number generator. To be eligible just comment with the pattern number you'd like to win. Unfortunately the crochet patterns are only in infant sizes, so I am offering 3 crochet patterns to choose from while there are only two knitting patterns to choose from.

Newborn set, #2557

2 T, 3T, 4T Polo shirt, # 2564
Crochet (all infant sizes):
Newborn set, #2558

Shell stitch set, #2563

Baby set #2528
Good luck! I will announce the winner in next week's Wednesday post. The contest will close next Monday (3/18) at midnight. (Read Tuesday at 00:00 if that's confusing).
